After a long and somewhat successful career as a video producer in the bike industry, John was burnt out from more than 15 years of continual travel and looking for a new direction. As luck would have it, the Covid Pandemic hit and forced his hand. Born as a lockdown project that got out of hand, John set up Flat White Paintworks in his kitchen. Buying a compressor and a spray gun with the thought \"how hard can it be?\" He set about painting his first frame. Covering everything in a fine layer of black paint dust was the result of that first paintjob, and soon he set about building a bespoke spray booth. The move to Staffordshire in 2021 brought with it an opportunity to build a bigger and better spray booth which is still in use today. 4 years later and Flat White Paintworks is going from strength to strength. We have since painted helmets and bikes for some of the top riders in the world, including Bernard Kerr, Adam Brayton, Mikayla Parton, Greg Williamson, Alex Storr, Jenna Hastings and many many more!<\/p>
